Part-time experienced Cook/Chef - 16/20 hours per week.
The Countryman Inn is a traditional country pub located in the heart of Cornwall, known for its outstanding hospitality and freshly prepared food. We pride ourselves on providing a warm welcome to all our visitors, complemented by a selection of fine beers, wines, and spirits.

SUMMARY

We are currently looking for someone who has a passion for food and has experience to come and join our team, for this well-established catering house at the Countryman Inn, Piece, Cornwall, TR16 6SG.

Experience:

• Cooking: 1 year (required

• Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to order to our standard
• Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are maintained.
• Manage kitchen inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area.
• Uphold the Countryman Inn’s reputation for excellent service.
• Qualifications
• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
• Previous experience cooking in a commercial kitchen is a must for this position
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork mentality.
• Must be reliable and able to work on your own, or as part of a team
• The applicant must be flexible and be able to work days, evenings and weekends.
• Own transport would be an advantage due to the rural location.
• Wages are negotiable depending on experience.
