ABOUT YOU:

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has experience in retail and enjoys working face-to-face with customers.
• Must be fully flexible to work any days which includes Saturdays.
• Must be able to work a full day, from opening to closing.
• Is reliable, punctual, and good at managing their time.
• Stays calm under pressure and can juggle tasks when the shop gets busy (or finds ways to keep busy when it’s quiet!).
• Has a knack for helping customers find exactly what they need and is great at upselling.
• Is well-organised and keeps things running smoothly.
• Communicates clearly and kindly – if you speak more than one language, that’s a bonus!
• Is confident and ambitious, with a can do attitiude towards work.
• Is happy to learn about different school requirements and can size up uniforms for kids like a pro.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW:

Our peak season runs from June 1st to September 30th, so we’ll need your full commitment during this time. If you have prior commitments during this period, this role might not be the best fit. This role is not suitable for someone that is in full time education.

As a key part of our team, your day-to-day will involve:

• Keeping the shop clean, tidy, and welcoming for our customers.
• Checking stock levels, unpacking deliveries, and making sure everything is in its place and in order.
• Running the till with confidence and handling payments accurately.
• Helping with online and phone orders, and keeping our displays looking great.
• Providing exceptional customer service to our customers visiting our stores and on the phone.
• Attending school marketing events
• Learning all about school uniforms, and sharing that knowledge with customers.
• Working with the team to come up with new ideas and expand our partnerships with schools.
• Staying in touch with schools and keeping an eye on what competitors are up to.
