JOB DESCRIPTION: PART-TIME SINGING TEACHER

Position: Part-Time Singing Teacher
Location: The Independent Theatre Workshop, Drumcondra and Clonskeagh
Type: Part-Time

ABOUT US:

The Independent Theatre Workshop (ITW) is a busy family run professional performing arts school dedicated to developing the talents of young performers. Our programs in drama, dance, singing and musical theatre offer students a platform to explore their creativity and enhance their skills in a supportive and dynamic environment. Our singing department is especially popular with over 100 singing classes a week already fully booked we are looking to add additional classes to facilitate the demand.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as a singing teacher or vocal coach with expertise in various music styles.
  • Relevant music or vocal performance qualifications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for teaching and inspiring students of all ages and abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience preparing students for performances and vocal exams.
  • Familiarity with musical theatre and stage performance.
