Sooke Veterinary Hospital is a bustling 4 doctor, AAHA-accredited small animal practice located in the picturesque coastal town of Sooke, BC. We are an incredible group of passionate individuals with a patient-first philosophy who take the utmost pride in serving our community.
Our practice is expanding and seeking a part-time Veterinary Receptionist. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a team-player and has impeccable customer service standards. We are looking for someone who will put their heart and soul into the position while going above and beyond for our clients. Superb communication and organizational skills are an absolute must to excel.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Reception experience a must
· Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic, animal care setting, or medical office considered an asset
· Basic computer literacy, including proficiency in using veterinary software (Avimark) and electronic medical records systems
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and interact with clients.

· Client education and communication
· Management of medical records
· Answering multiple phone lines
· Scheduling appointments
· Triaging patients on the phone and in person
· Greeting clients (and their pets) with a smile and enthusiasm
· Administrative duties (insurance forms, inventory control)
