This position is responsible keeping the Family Fitness Center and surrounding areas in clean and orderly condition in addition to setup and take down of tables and chairs for meetings, parties, events, and programs. Must be 16 years of age or older and have availability on evenings, weekends mornings and afternoons, and some holidays. Starting Pay: $14.50 FLSA: Non-Exempt Schedule: Part-time; nights & weekends Job Posting Close Date: Open until filled Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, all surfaces and trim. Cleans offices, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, facility activity areas and other areas as assigned. Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors. Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies. Dusts and cleans furniture and equipment. Polishes metal work. Washes walls, ceilings, and woodwork. Washes windows, door panels and sills. Empties wastebaskets and washes them as necessary. Transports trash and waste to disposal area. Replenishes bathroom supplies. Replaces all trash can liners. Sets up tables and chairs and take down for meetings, parties, events, and programs Shovels snow when needed. Reports needed maintenance to the appropriate supervisor. Transports small equipment or tools between departments. Other duties may be assigned.
