Part-Time Faculty – English Writing (Creative and Professional Writing) The University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg invites applications for a part-time non-tenure stream instructor position teaching one three-credit course, ENGWRT 1310 Advanced Journalism/Feature Writing, for the Spring 2026 term. The available course section will be delivered in a hybrid format. The course will meet in person on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:00 pm-5:15 pm. The applicant must be available to teach in-person the above-listed section from the start of classes, January 12, 2026, through the last day of classes, April 24, 2026, with grades due to be submitted by 12 noon on May 5, 2026. The successful candidate will possess a Ph.D. in English or an MFA in English and be able to present evidence of directly relevant teaching and professional experience and a demonstrated record of success teaching this and related English and Creative and Professional Writing courses at the University level.
