Job Details Job Location: Marietta, OH Salary Range: Undisclosed Description Finance Associate: The position acts as administrator of financial operations for the firm. This position provides the needed accounting and bookkeeping duties and responsibilities for the firm’s financially related administration. The staff that fulfills these duties must ensure all firm information is maintained in strict confidence and with a level of high integrity and professionalism. Duties/Responsibilities: Performs all firm related finance administration. Specific duties include, but are not limited to: Performing the duties of Accounts Payable in accordance with standard procedures. Performing and managing Accounts Receivable. Performing monthly client billing. Performing collection of past due AR accounts in accordance with firm procedures as needed. Making Bank Deposits. Perform the tasks of Audit billing to State of Ohio. Preparing monthly financial statements for the firm; run monthly reports. Performing bank reconciliations. Performs other financial research, analysis, and reporting as needed. Places supply orders, sources vendors for best price, quality and deliver terms. All other duties as assigned or as needed by the organization. Qualifications Required Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting. Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles. Proficient with accounting software. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required. At least two years of related experience required. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
