This is not a substitute position. This is a consistent, structured role requiring professionalism, flexibility, and confidence across age groups. Our Floating Assistant supports Infants all the way to Preschool classrooms during the busy afternoon hours, helping maintain structure, supervision, and smooth transitions. Experience Requirement (Mandatory) Minimum 3 years of experience working in a licensed daycare center Experience working with multiple age groups (toddlers and/or preschool) Strong understanding of classroom routines and child development Only applicants with verifiable daycare experience will be considered. What This Role Requires This position is ideal for someone who: Is comfortable moving between classrooms based on daily needs Can quickly adapt to different teaching styles and routines Walks into a classroom and immediately contributes Helps children feel safe, supported, and comfortable Maintains professionalism and calm energy at all times Follows policies, procedures, and licensing regulations consistently Afternoon hours require strong supervision, energy, and organization.
