JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated part time food prep and line cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and execution of high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Experience in Mexican cuisine is an asset.
As a cook, you’ll prepare and deliver exceptional culinary experiences to our guests with genuine warmth and care. You’ll ensure consistency and precision in executing our menu items, using efficient prep and cooking techniques. In this role, you’ll follow exact specifications to maintain product quality, while promoting a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Successful candidates will be provided the opportunity to advance a career in restaurant management by progressing to roles with greater responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in Mexican cuisine is preferred
  • Valid Food Handlers Certificate is mandatory
  • Experience in a kitchen environment is required
  • Knowledge of food safety practices
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
  • Understanding of basic cooking techniques and equipment
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings
    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
