We have a position available for a Part-Time Food Safety & Compliance administrator. In this role, you will be working alongside the administrative team at our headquarters in Greenbank Industrial Estate, Newry. Hours are semi-flexible and up for discussion.
Duties include:
- Creating, updating and maintaining food safety and health and safety policies and procedures in line with current legislation
- Creating and maintaining product specifications
- Ensuring food labelling is accurate and kept up to date.
- Completing technical checks in the factory including daily temperature checks on ingredients and equipment.
- Conduct daily quality checks on all ingredients
- Conduct verifications of the food safety and quality system including collecting samples for testing
- Complete regular equipment calibrations including temperature probes, weights etc
- Completing any other reasonable tasks related to this position
- ⁠Also assist with the day to day running of the office: Handling customer inquiries via the phone or email and greeting visitors, etc.
- Supporting team members with any other administrative tasks that may arise.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar administrator or receptionist role
- Experience of Sage 50 Accounts preferable but not essential.
- Experience using Microsoft office applications such as Outlook and Excel.

We have two brick and mortar shops, one located in Marcus Square in Newry and the other on Church St, Warrenpoint. We also have a dedicated bakery counter inside Mulkerns Spar shop on the Forkhill Road in Cloughoge. Corn Dolly supplies many products to numerous stores across Newry and the surrounding area, from Crossmaglen to Kilkeel and Annalong. Every day we produce freshly made bread products, along with various confectionary and cakes, including celebration cakes for birthdays, weddings, engagements, etc.
