Job Description: The Part-Time Food Service Assistant is responsible for supporting daily food service operations within the company cafeteria. This position ensures all food preparation, serving, and cleaning tasks are completed according to quality and safety standards. Job Details: 8:00 am - 2:00 pm Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (18 hours per week) Starting pay $16.00 - $21.00 per hour depending on experience Onsite in Halfmoon, NY Job Responsibilities: Assists with preparing all foods that are served in the company cafeteria. Assists with breakfast preparation to ensure it is ready to serve by 8:30 am, daily. Assists with lunch preparation to ensure it is ready to serve by 12:00 pm, daily. Sets up and breaks down food stations before and after service periods. Washes pots, pans, dishes, and utensils ensuring cleanliness and sanitation. Maintains a clean and professional appearance and work space. Assists with weekly menu planning within allocated budget. Operates cash register and handles transactions accordingly. Make trip to Sam’s club or other needed food suppliers, as needed. Provides friendly, efficient service to employees and guests. Abides by all Serv-Safe guidelines.
