We are seeking an energetic and creative French Teacher to lead an after-school program designed for students of various ages who are looking to unwind and have fun while learning French. This role is perfect for someone who can transform language learning into an enjoyable and interactive experience, making the transition from the school day to after-school activities smooth and engaging.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Working towards Education degree
• Workable fluency in speaking and writing in the French language
• A minimum of 1 year teaching experience in primary classroom setting

• Develop and implement a French language curriculum that emphasizes play, creativity, and enjoyment, tailored to a mixed-age group. Lessons should be light-hearted and engaging, incorporating games, music, storytelling, and hands-on activities.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress through regular assessments, providing constructive feedback and adjusting teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel supported and motivated to participate. Implement effective classroom management strategies to handle the challenges of teaching a mixed-age group.
• Conferring with parents/guardians, including report card comments/marking, and interviews
• Stay updated on current best practices in language teaching, particularly for mixed-age groups.
