Job Details Job Location: Dearborn Heights, MI 48125 Salary Range: $15.00 Job Summary The Front Desk Associate position is focused primarily on public contact by addressing program registrations, assisting walk-in visitors, and answering telephone inquiries. The employees of the City are required to serve citizens and customers in a tactful, courteous manner; and establish and maintain good working relationships with staff, directors, elected officials, and the general public. This position will work primarily afternoons and weekends. Compensation $15.00 per/hour. This is a part-time 28-hour per-week position and is not eligible for benefits nor paid time off. Essential Job Functions Greets and assists the general public, provides information, and accepts fees and registrations for programs. Assisting customers with facility regulations and policies. Prepares facility spaces for events. Records and assists with rentals. Report unsafe conditions in the buildings/premises, injuries, or incidents that occur at the Center to the Director or Deputy Director. Must be available to work weekdays, weeknights, weekends, and/or Holidays as required. Assisting with other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age and have earned a High School degree. Must be able to have good attendance, be proficient in Office365 programs, type a minimum of 60 WPM, and be able to use a calculator. Must be customer-oriented and maintain excellent customer service. Must be able to pass a post-offer background check, and physical and drug screening.
