The Queens Head in Farnham is a busy, traditional English pub serving quality pub food. Our kitchen opens from 10am-9.30pm 7 days a week, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner. Serving a large classic pub menu with plenty of veggie and vegan options and chef’s specials in house and to your door.
Even though we are a Fullers pub, the business is owned and operated independently by hands on owners and our food menu is completely managed in house! Our busy little pub is in need of a part-time or full-time chef to join our energetic, young and passionate kitchen team. In this role there will be the opportunity to lead on to more responsibilities as a team leader if the right candidate is successful.

To be a successful candidate you will need;

  • Experience as a cook/chef (Grill section preferred but not essential)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organisation & high hygiene standards
  • Strong time management skills
  • Positive attitude

Responsibilities:

  • Opening/Closing the kitchen to the highest standard
  • Quick service to hit our target kitchen to table timing
  • Kitchen compliance (Allergens, HACCP, Hygiene, Health & Safety standards)
  • Routine deep cleaning
  • Team leading shifts
