We are hiring 1 Part-Time/Full-Time Permanent Retail Sales Associates for the 1051 Baxter Rd. branch of The Scottish and Irish Store.
Hours are approximately 22 - 35 hours per week and we are looking for a candidate with weekday availability.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of Scottish, Irish and English Culture is an asset.
  • High School Diploma is required.
  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills, French is an asset.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Previous retail experience is an asset.

Responsibilities
  • Develop positive customer relationships through friendly greetings and excellent customer service
  • Help customers with questions, problems, and complaints in person, via telephone and email.
  • Answer questions about the origin of each product sold, including the type of materials, locations of manufacturing, and workmanship involved by being knowledgeable on all products offered.
  • Process customer payments using point of sale.
  • Stock shelves and organize product displays.
  • Merchandising tasks, such as receiving shipments, price markdowns, fitting room upkeep.
  • Ensure store is visually appealing contributing to company standards through product presentation, replenishment, store housekeeping, store maintenance and visual displays.
  • Be a team player and contribute to the stores’ success.
  • Maintain opening and closing procedures.
