Seeking: Full time Sales & Eyewear Associate | Pre-tester
The position is for 4-5 days per week and can begin immediately.

If you answered yes, we want to work with you! We are currently looking for 1-2 candidates to join our team. Located in south St Vital we have been delivering exceptional vision care for over 25 years. We are a progressive optometry practice with a wonderful team of staff and optometrists.
As a member of our team, you will make recommendations to help our patients and customers choose the perfect pair of eyewear as well as complete preliminary testing for patients prior to their eye exams.

Duties include:

• Assisting patients with frame selection, educating and making recommendations on the lenses and coatings in their eyewear.
• Keeping up to date on eyewear trends and the products we carry.
• Minor frame repairs.
• Checking out patients including payment and insurance processing, as well booking future appointments as necessary.
• Helping with the day to day operations of the optical and keeping it organized.
• Perform testing prior to eye exam. Pretesting (using auto-refractor, fundus camera, lensometer)
• Administering visual field tests
• Excellent at multitasking and able to keep up in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure every patient leaves the clinic happy!

Note: Previous experience in an optical clinic is considered an asset but we will train the right candidate. We encourage anyone with a strong background in customer service, enjoys helping others, and a love of glasses to apply!
Working hours are primarily during the daytime from Monday to Friday but will also include Wednesday evenings and Saturdays. You would be scheduled for 4-5 days per week, an evening shift and Saturdays. We are closed Saturdays in July and August, as well as on long weekends. We offer vision and eyewear benefits.
