The successful candidate will become a key point of contact for bereaved families, legacy pledgers and external partners across the local area.
This role would suit someone from a customer service background who communicates with empathy and professionalism and is now seeking a purpose-driven role in the charity sector.
This is a long-term opportunity with future progression potential, working closely with a highly experienced manager ahead of their planned retirement in the coming years. The role is offered on a 3 day per week basis, with one day required to be a Monday, with a salary of £26k FTE and all mileage allowances provided, due to the travelling required, it is essential that a candidate has access to their own vehicle.

SKILLS & BACKGROUND

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a calm, compassionate approach
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
• Background in customer service, events or fundraising preferred
• Confidence dealing with sensitive or emotional situations
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (mileage reimbursed)

• Build long-term relationships with supporters and legacy pledgers through phone calls, emails and in-person meetings
• Deliver and support memorial campaigns and donor events
• Represent the charity at meetings with local funeral directors, solicitors and community groups
• Update internal CRM records, coordinate event logistics and maintain supporter communications
• Support income reporting and provide cover for senior colleagues where needed
