Description Kimberton Whole Foods is looking for two part-time General Stockers to join the Ottsville team! Requirements: Part-time, up to 24 hours per week. Must be available during weekday morning & afternoons. Age Requirement: Must be 16 years or older. Pay: $15.00 hourly to start Benefits: Part-time team members are eligible for a 15% store discount after 60 days and a 401K with matching 3% after one year and 1000 hours worked. **Please note: Kimberton Whole Foods does not hire seasonally** DAILY OPERATIONS: The General Stocker's primary responsibilities to execute the following: Provide exceptional customer service to all. Receiving and stocking all dry goods, ready-to-drink beverages, household and bulk items. Receiving and stocking all incoming refrigerated and frozen items including fresh meat and fish, local eggs and dairy, bakery, and specialty products. Stocks and handles product following guidelines for time and temperature demands. Rotating back stock on a first-in first-out basis. Working in collaboration with the Grocery & Perishable Department Heads to maintain accurate and up-to-date product signage throughout the entire department. Understands KWF inventory management practices. Assists the front end by scanning customers groceries and completing all transactions efficiently. Carefully and efficiently bags groceries. Requirements PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES: Full sense range (vision, hearing and sense of smell) – the ability to read product labels, distinguish color & smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with the customers and co-workers. Lifting, gripping and carrying objects – up to 50-75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools and other products. Stooping, squatting, & kneeling – stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts. Walking – short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas. Standing- prolonged standing. Work environment – movement based with most of the time being in motion (walking & standing) rather that sedentary (sitting). Climate – ability to work in cold environments (cooler, Freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

The General Stocker is responsible for receiving and stocking dry, refrigerated, and frozen goods while maintaining accurate product signage. Additionally, they provide customer service and assist the front end with scanning and bagging groceries.
