The University of Findlay (www.findlay.edu) is seeking a part time 12 month, 19 hours per week, non-benefited, non-exempt position. The hourly rate of pay is $14.38. The part time grants coordinator provides oversight to specific grant-related projects, ensuring that project deliverables are completed as planned on time and on budget. This role demands an understanding of the importance of collaboration, joint promotion, multi-tasking, and working among agencies with different requirements.
On-campus & Remote Hybrid work: This position will require on-campus work hours, as well as flexible remote work opportunities. This position requires regular, predictable, reliable attendance in the office environment, either physically on campus or virtually via video conferencing software.
A high school diploma is required. The candidate must possess the ability to act independently and apply creative problem-solving to analyze project processes and make sound recommendations; highly developed communication skills to function within a complex interdisciplinary environment; proven ability to effectively lead project teams, both in a physical and virtual team environment; and have strong literacy with word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and project management. Preference given to candidates with a bachelor’s degree, preferably in business administration, finance, public administration, communications, or a related field; and prior experience in grant management, budgeting, or project management is strongly preferred. A valid US driver’ license with a safe driving record is required.
