Description Kimberton Whole Foods in Collegeville is looking for a Part-Time Grocery Stocker to join the team! Availability: Part-time, up to 24 hours per week. One weekend shift is required per week. Schedule: Mondays 2pm-8:30pm Fridays 2pm-8:30pm Saturdays 12pm-8:30pm Age Requirement: Must be 16 years or older. Pay Range: $14.00 - $16.00 Benefits: Part-time team members are eligible for a 15% store discount after 60 days and a 401K with matching 3% after one year and 1000 hours worked. The Grocery Stocker’s Primary Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service to all. Receiving and stocking all dry goods, ready-to-drink beverages, household and bulk items. Stocks and handles product following guidelines for time and temperature demands. Rotating back stock on a first-in first-out basis. Working in collaboration with the Grocery Department Head to maintain accurate and up-to-date product signage throughout the entire department. Understands KWF inventory management practices. Assists the front end by scanning customers groceries and completing all transactions efficiently. Carefully and efficiently bags groceries. Requirements PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES: Full sense range (vision, hearing and sense of smell) – the ability to read product labels, distinguish color & smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with the customers and co-workers. Lifting, gripping and carrying objects – up to 50-75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools and other products. Stooping, squatting, & kneeling – stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts. Walking – short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas. Standing- prolonged standing. Work environment – movement based with most of the time being in motion (walking & standing) rather that sedentary (sitting). Climate – ability to work in cold environments (cooler, Freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service, receiving and stocking dry goods, beverages, household, and bulk items while adhering to time and temperature guidelines. This also involves rotating stock using a first-in first-out method, maintaining product signage, and assisting the front end with scanning and bagging transactions.
