SUMMARY   The Church at Nolensville Groups and Missions Administrative Assistant is responsible to the church, under the direction of the Groups and Missions Minister, and will serve our campus in support of the Groups and Missions ministries of the church. This person will be responsible for providing administrative support and assistance in all areas of weekly adult groups ministries, assimilation, connection, special events and projects, ministry opportunities, missions endeavors, and other church sponsored community events.   PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES may include but are not limited to the following:   Administrative Support in:  Connections: * Work closely with the Assimilation and Connection Minister to help connect visitors, non-members and those in the membership process. * Maintain current membership information, inventory, calendar, and other information, into Ministry Platform. * Provide administrative support/coordinate for weekly and monthly guest connection events: Lunch with the Pastors * Provide administrative support/coordinate for bi-monthly Discover Us and Discover You classes * Manage Group Inquiries Connection Pathway & follow up process   Groups/Discipleship: * Work with the Groups & Missions Minister to add/update/manage groups in Ministry Platform and assist with printing rolls for on-campus groups as needed, provide administrative support to Group Leaders & Women’s and Men’s Ministry (room reservations, promotions, new members). * Work with the Groups & Mission Minister to maintain accurate attendance records for off-campus groups. * Perform a variety of clerical duties, including data entry (such as weekly communication cards from guests), adding milestones, group attendance processing (class roles, group management), collating, labeling, etc. * Become proficient in the Ministry Platform system to assist staff with contacts, participant records, group details, group/membership reports. * Monitor Communications Team activities.   Missions: * Work closely with the Groups & Missions Minister in scheduling Mission Journeys, assisting in travel coordination, maintaining mission participant databases, assisting in Mission Journey promotion activities. * Monitor Communications Team activities.     OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES may include but are not limited to the following: * Attend quarterly all-staff meetings held at the Brentwood campus * Attend Nolensville campus staff meetings   COMPETENCIES AND TRAITS: In addition to the specific responsibilities required for this role, Brentwood Baptist Church also seeks candidates that possess some general competencies and behavioral traits that enhance the effectiveness of our staff. Responsibilities
The administrative assistant provides support for adult groups, missions, and connection ministries by managing databases, coordinating events, and assisting ministry leaders.
