ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Hold Assessor (A1/) qualification.
• Hold Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) qualification.
• Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Hairdressing.
• Strong IT skills – confident using learning management systems, spreadsheets, and email platforms.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Extensive knowledge of advanced hairdressing techniques – cutting, colouring, creative styling.
• Familiarity with VTCT awarding body requirements.
• Previous experience delivering NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) training.
• Ability to plan and deliver classes independently.

THE ROLE

We are seeking a confident and experienced NVQ Level 3 Hairdressing Educator to lead and deliver our Level 3 Advanced Hairdressing qualification on a part-time basis.
This is a role for a highly organised educator who can work independently to plan, prepare, and deliver outstanding lessons that keep learners motivated and engaged.
You’ll be expected to manage your own teaching schedule, maintain learner progress tracking, and ensure full compliance with VTCT awarding body requirements.
Alongside exceptional hairdressing expertise, you will need strong IT skills to effectively use online learning platforms, maintain accurate electronic records, and prepare engaging digital learning resources.
Training in Schwarzkopf Professional colour and product ranges will be provided, but you must already hold extensive knowledge of advanced cutting, colouring, and creative techniques, and be confident in delivering high-level, salon-ready training.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver high-quality teaching, assessment, and feedback for NVQ Level 3 Hairdressing.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons and practical demonstrations.
• Use IT systems and software to manage learner records, assessments, and communications.
• Organise teaching resources and maintain a professional learning environment.
• Support and mentor students to achieve their full potential.
• Conduct assessments in line with VTCT awarding body standards.
• Work independently to manage your class, curriculum delivery, and learner needs.
