Job Description:
We are a family looking for a patient, creative, and adaptable Home School Teacher to teach three children (ages 5, 7, and 9) in English, Maths, Science, and ICT.
The role involves delivering engaging lessons and planning a flexible yearly learning curriculum tailored to how each child learns. Unlike a traditional school setting, this is a calm, supportive, and chilled environment — with no pressure of meeting strict targets or managing large, chaotic classrooms.
Children may sometimes learn together for shared topics, while also receiving individual attention where needed.
A dedicated school room with resources and a colour printer is provided for your use.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver lessons in English and Maths throughout the week.
• Teach Science once a week in a fun, practical way.
• Deliver an ICT lesson once a week for the 7- and 9-year-olds.
• Create and manage a flexible yearly learning plan.
• Adapt teaching styles to suit each child’s learning approach.
• Encourage curiosity and make learning enjoyable.
• Share progress updates with parents.

• Monday to Thursday
• 2.5 hours per day (10 hours per week total)
• Flexible — some days may need to change depending on circumstances

• Approx. £600 per month (negotiable depending on experience)

Requirements:

• Experience teaching children, ideally across different ages.
• Strong knowledge of primary-level English, Maths, Science, and basic ICT.
• Ability to create structured yet flexible lesson plans.
• Creative, enthusiastic, and patient.
• Reliable and organised.

• Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, Montessori, or similar)
• Experience with home schooling or small group teaching
