TITLE: Hospitality Coordinator DEPARTMENT: Business REPORTS TO: Hospitality Director Hospitality Coordinator exists to create a culture of warmth, belonging, and Christ-centered hospitality across both Ocean Church. This role is responsible for building hospitality teams, volunteer engagement, church-wide events, and the overall first impressions. Lead and coordinate all hospitality-related efforts across church functions, conferences, holiday services, events, volunteer appreciation and ministry gatherings Manage and coordinate all hospitality requests Serve as the point of contact for vendor and catering logistics during church events Collaborate and coordinate seasonal lobby and church environment expressions Ensure facility readiness: entryways, lobbies, coffee areas, and bathrooms are welcoming Partner with custodial and facilities teams to maintain high standards of presentation and cleanliness Recruit and train hospitality volunteers for hosting, setup/teardown, and event roles Schedule and communicate with hospitality volunteers. Create and maintain a healthy volunteer structure by investing in the team, cultivating a Christ-centered culture of service Celebrate staff milestones (e.g., birthdays, first days, etc) and create rhythms of gratitude and encouragement Oversee hospitality aspects of hosting guest speakers and pastors' green room. WORK SCHEDULE Part time 20-25 hour per week Schedule to be determined by Hospitality Director AN IDEAL INDIVIDUAL Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to multitask, problem solve and manage time effectively. Familiar with Mac OS, Microsoft Office Suite, Planning Center, and able to learn new software applications.
