Job Description Part-Time HR Assistant Berman Auto Group Location: 5757 W Touhy Ave. Niles, IL (On-Site) Pay: $18–$20 per hour (based on experience) Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday | 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM On biweekly payroll weeks, hours adjust to Monday–Wednesday. We are happy to offer flexible scheduling options, including half-day shifts throughout the week, based on candidate preference. Berman Auto Group is seeking a Part-Time HR Assistant to support daily HR and administrative functions. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and comfortable working with payroll systems and spreadsheets. Responsibilities: Assist with payroll processing and related administrative tasks Support HR functions including employee records, onboarding, and documentation Perform general clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and record maintenance Maintain and update HR spreadsheets and reports using Excel and Google Workspace Assist with timekeeping, attendance tracking, and internal reporting Support compliance with company policies and procedures Handle miscellaneous HR projects and administrative tasks as assigned This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their experience in Human Resources. Qualifications HR experience required Must be able to work the scheduled days and hours (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM) Experience with Paylocity strongly preferred Previous payroll experience preferred Union experience preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace (G-Suite) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality Strong communication skills and professional demeanor Reliable, punctual, and able to work on-site consistently Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
