WHAT YOU BRING

  • Diploma or degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in an HR coordinator, assistant or generalist role
  • Familiarity with Alberta employment standards and HR best practices
  • Bonus if you’ve worked in a technical, engineering or industrial environment
  • CHRP or PHR is an asset but not a requirement
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities across a flexible schedule
Responsibilities

As our HR Coordinator, you’ll be the go-to person for a variety of HR tasks with the flexibility to make the role your own. Your day-to-day work may include:

  • Supporting full-cycle recruitment, candidate screening, onboarding and offboarding
  • Coordinating payroll tasks with accounting and maintaining employee records
  • Managing benefits administration and acting as a liaison with providers
  • Maintaining and organizing HR documentation and compliance checklists
  • Answering employee questions and assisting with policy communication
  • Helping streamline and improve HR processes as we grow
