We’re now looking for a proactive and professional HR Officer to join us on a part-time basis and take the lead in developing and maintaining our HR processes.

Responsibilities

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional who is looking for a flexible, part-time position in a friendly and supportive environment. As our first dedicated HR Officer, you will play a key role in shaping the people function and embedding good HR practices across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as first point of contact for all HR enquiries
  • Increase HR visibility throughout the business by regular visits to the factory, building relationships with employees in all areas
  • Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to managers and employees
  • Manage employee relations, including performance, absence management and welfare meetings, and conduct matters
  • Maintain and update HR records and documentation including tracking and managing employee attendance and leave records
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding/induction including relevant risk assessments, and offboarding processes
  • Administer HR paperwork, such as starters/leavers, recruitment, contracts, letters, employee handbook etc
  • Support managers with probationary review meetings
  • Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Ensure legal compliance in line with employment law and company policies
  • Assisting with payroll
  • Organising and delivering annual statutory training sessions
  • Organising and co-ordinating annual reviews
  • Liaising with our offsite HR consultants
  • Attending HR training events
