JOB SUMMARY

The College of Coastal Georgia seeks qualified applicants for the part time applicant pool in the area of Physics. This is an applicant pool for teaching in the School of Arts & Sciences. Applicants will be reviewed on an as-needed basis and hiring may occur up to the start date of a given semester.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • M.S. in Physics or related fields with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in Physics or a closely related field (i.e., Astrophysics or Applied Physics).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Successful teaching experience

PREFERRED EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ph.D. in Physics or a closely related field

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Online teaching
  • Successful teaching experience at the undergraduate level

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES -

The successful candidate will teach Physics courses contingent to the needs of the College. Essential duties include: maintaining office hours, preparing lesson plans, lectures, and other course materials such as quizzes and exams, and submission of final grades and attendance reports.
