Austin Peay State University is currently seeking part-time, temporary, adjunct instructors in the area of University Success. The Department offers both online and on-campus courses and an ability to teach both is prized.  Primary Duties and Responsibilities  Teach University Success course, University Success & Foundations Learning course, University Success for Transfer Students course, Foundations of Peer Leadership in the University course, The Leadership Project course, Peer Leadership Practicum Experience course, or University Success Preparing for the World of Work course, as needed by the department.  Physical Requirements  Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.  Required Minimum Qualifications  Masters degree or higher from an accredited college or university  A background search will be required of the successful applicant.  Special Instructions to Applicants  Please highlight experience with any of the following:  • Teaching research classes  • Teaching at-risk populations  • Teaching peer leadership and/or leadership courses  • Experience with career services  Applicant review will continue until the position is filled.  Please refer all questions to facultyapplications@apsu.edu Austin Peay State University is a four-year public, doctoral-level university, with six colleges and four Chairs of Excellence.
