Position Summary We are seeking a motivated Part-Time IT Intern to support our IT department. This role offers hands-on experience with hardware, software, networking, and technical projects in a real-world business environment. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to build a strong foundation for a career in information technology. Key Responsibilities Respond to and resolve IT help desk tickets related to hardware, software, and network issues Assist with the setup, configuration, and deployment of new employee workstations, including computers, monitors, and peripherals Install, update, and patch operating systems and software applications to ensure performance and security Provide basic network troubleshooting and support for user access to network resources Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets, including hardware, software licenses, and mobile devices Document technical procedures and create clear, user-friendly guides for employees Support IT initiatives such as software rollouts, cybersecurity efforts, and cloud-based projects Assist with administrative tasks including presentations, spreadsheets, and IT documentation Qualifications Current student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Foundational knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts Familiarity with Windows operating systems, productivity software, and basic IT tools Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate clearly and work well in a team Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Optional (not required): ITIL, CISA, HDI, or other relevant IT certifications Learning Opportunities Hands-on exposure to enterprise IT systems, cybersecurity practices, and cloud technologies Participation in real-world IT projects including troubleshooting, system maintenance, and deployments Development of technical documentation and end-user support skills Equal Opportunity Employer Goodwin Motor Group is an equal opportunity employer.
