About the Role: The Part Time Janitor at our Campbell location plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within the facility. This position ensures that all designated areas are regularly cleaned and sanitized to meet health and safety standards, contributing to the overall operational efficiency and comfort of employees and visitors. The janitor will be responsible for routine cleaning tasks, waste disposal, and minor maintenance duties, supporting the facility's commitment to a high standard of cleanliness. Working part-time, the role requires reliability and attention to detail to ensure that all cleaning schedules are adhered to without disruption. Ultimately, this position supports the Consumer Support Services industry by fostering a hygienic and orderly workplace that enhances productivity and well-being. Minimum Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred but not required. * Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. * Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and supplies and their safe usage. * Reliable transportation to and from the CE Campbell Generation facility. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience working in a consumer support services or industrial facility environment. * Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to cleaning and sanitation. * Certification in occupational safety or janitorial best practices. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. * Strong communication skills to effectively report issues and coordinate with team members. Responsibilities: * Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting floors and surfaces throughout the facility. * Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations. * Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to maintain hygiene standards. * Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning to the appropriate personnel. * Restock cleaning supplies and ensure all equipment is maintained and stored properly after use. Skills: The required skills such as physical stamina and knowledge of cleaning procedures are essential for performing daily janitorial duties efficiently and safely.
