Description Part-Time Job Coach – Canon City Starpoint is seeking a caring and motivated Part-Time Job Coach to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving success in community employment. Position Summary The Job Coach plays a vital role in helping individuals thrive in their jobs. This includes supporting day-to-day tasks, assisting with communication, advocating for accommodations, and working as a liaison between employees and employers. What You’ll Do · Support individuals in finding and maintaining meaningful employment in the community · Assist with resumes, applications, and interview preparation · Provide on-the-job coaching and help with workplace communication · Support employers in creating inclusive workplaces · Provide transportation to/from work or interviews as needed · Complete required documentation and progress notes Requirements Qualifications · At least 18 years of age · High energy, positive attitude, and strong interpersonal skills · Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and proof of insurance · Ability to pass a criminal background check and Colorado CAPS check · Dependable, punctual, compassionate, and a strong communicator · Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities preferred (not required — training provided) Essential Functions May need to lift/carry 50+ lbs., push/pull 100+ lbs., and stand for 4+ hours Why Join Starpoint? · Purpose-driven work with compensation and professional growth opportunities · Make a lasting impact in a supportive team · Ongoing training and certification provided
