Part-Time Kitchen Assistant / Cook (Weekdays) We’re looking for a reliable and organised part-time kitchen assistant to support our on-site kitchen during our busy lunch period. This role is primarily Monday to Friday, 10:30am – 2:30pm, with the opportunity for additional full-day shifts to cover staff leave or sick days when required, and is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced, structured environment and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly. You’ll be working with the kitchen team, assisting with prep, service, and keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean and well-stocked. What your day will look like: Assisting with food prep and lunch service Helping with daily lunch orders Preparing components for evening meals Restocking snacks, drinks, and kitchen supplies Keeping on top of dishes during service Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen and dining areas Rubbish removal and end-of-shift reset About you: Reliable and punctual — this is a key service period Quick, efficient, and able to stay on task in a fast-paced window Organised with a strong eye for detail Takes pride in cleanliness and keeping things in order Comfortable taking direction and working within a team Some kitchen or food prep experience preferred Food Handling Certificate is a bonus If you’re someone who works efficiently, keeps things tidy, and can jump in and help wherever needed, we’d love to hear from you. Responsibilities
