Kitchen Assistant
This is an entry-level position at a small catering and meal prep company. Cooking experience is an asset but is not necessary.
Shifts include;
Mondays (4-6 hours) start time is flexible but most likley a 9am start.
Tuesdays from 10:30 - 6:15
We need help for Mondays + Tuesdays, Saturdays could be optional for the right candidate.
Saturdays from 9:30 - 3:30/4ish
Duties:
- Assist with food preparation and cooking under the supervision of the head chef
- Chopping and weighing of vegetables and following recipes
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Assist in packaging food
- Assist with washing dishes
- Packing customer orders
- Answering Phones
- There are opportunities for catering shifts and kitchen shifts occasionally, to fill in for staff members who are away from work for various reasons.

- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Ability to follow instructions accurately

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
