Description

A forward thinking and supportive school within the north/central of Birmingham is looking for a part-time teacher to work within KS1. The school has been described to be very supportive of its staff and provides a lot of assistance and support day-to-day. They are looking for a passionate and nurturing teacher who will lead an engaged and flexible team, supporting children with a wide range of needs across all ages.

Responsibilities

Teacher: KS1. Covering full classes and small intervention groups in sizes of 4-8 children.
Part time: 2 or 3 days a week.
Hours: 8:30-16:00
Start: Immediately
Duration: End of school year
The role would be covering KS1 classes whilst providing intervention work to small groups of children. As this role is to work alongside the lead teacher, planning will already be in place. What’s paramount to them is that the successful candidate is willing to work closely with SLT and liaise with them over the progress that is being made in class.
This leading primary school prides itself on valuing creative, skilled and passionate staff, who are dedicated in nurturing the best outcomes for the pupils. This school has fantastic opportunities for professional development & continuous support from the senior leadership team and specialist colleagues. Pay is always negotiable depending on experience, and can be up to £200 a day, especially if you can impress during a paid trial, which the school is more than happy to arrange to give you a real taste. Experience is very much required, and this is a great opportunity to get into an expert setting where you can challenge yourself and make a real difference.
