The School of Nursing and Health Sciences offers a number of programmes in Nursing and Health Sciences at Diploma, Higher Diploma, Bachelor and Master Levels. We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences: Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will assume roles in teaching research methods and biostatistical analyses. The appointee will be responsible primarily for the following: #Performing teaching, including delivering lectures, conducting tutorials and seminars, and other teaching activities. Planning, developing and updating the course materials, including lecture notes, readings, and assessments. Marking and providing constructive feedback on student assignments, projects, and presentations. Performing administrative, operational and other duties as assigned. #The appointee will be required to conduct classes mainly on weekends. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: A Master’s degree, preferably a doctoral degree, in biostatistics, data science, epidemiology, public health, nursing or related disciplines; Proficiency in spoken and written English. Experience in relevant teaching at tertiary level is preferable. Terms and Conditions for Appointment Successful candidates will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract.
