The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: conducting lectures and tutorials; writing lecture notes, designing and marking of assignments/examination scripts; and performing other related teaching and administrative duties. They should have the capacity to deliver courses in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua, as well as general teaching and research experience. Relevant expertise in quantitative research at the tertiary level would be an advantage. CAHT 8007AEF Principles and Practices of Conservation: An Asian Perspective Applicants should hold a higher degree, preferably a doctorate, in Heritage or Cultural Studies, History, Social Sciences, Tourism, or a related discipline, with expertise in conservation across multiple Asian regions (at least more than one.) They should have the capacity to deliver courses in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua, as well as general teaching and research experience. Master of Social Sciences PSYC 8003AEF Psychology for Decision-Making Applicants should possess a higher degree, preferably an earned doctorate, in Psychology or related discipline.. Relevant teaching experience at the tertiary level would be an advantage. SOCI 8003AEF Essentials of Social Policy Studies Applicants should possess a higher degree, preferably an earned doctorate, in Sociology or a related discipline. They should have teaching/professional experience. Relevant teaching experience at the tertiary level would be an advantage. SOCI 8004AEF Key Issues in Social Policy Studies Applicants should possess a higher degree, preferably an earned doctorate, in Sociology or a related discipline. They should have teaching/professional experience. Relevant teaching experience at the tertiary level would be an advantage. SOCI 8006AEF Criminal Justice and Selected Crime Issues Applicants should possess a higher degree, preferably an earned doctorate, in Sociology, Criminology or a related discipline. They should have teaching/professional experience. Relevant teaching experience at the tertiary level would be an advantage. Duration of Appointment The appointees will be required to work on evenings or Saturday/Sunday on campus for the period from January 2026 to June 2026 for a maximum of 17 hours per week.
