For more information about the University, please visit https://www.hkmu.edu.hk We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Arts and Social Sciences: Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointees will mainly be responsible for the course planning, development and delivery of the full-time face-to-face undergraduate programmes. The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: conducting lectures and tutorials; writing lecture notes, designing and marking of assignments/examination scripts; and performing other related teaching and administrative duties. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence for the relevant course(s) are specified as follows: CHIN A365CF中國當代文學專題申請者須持有碩士或以上學位，主修中國語言及文學、語言學或相關科目。具相關教學經驗者可獲優先考慮。 ECON 3005AEF Applied Economics in Public Policy Analysis Applicants should possess a at least an M.A. degree in Economics or a related discipline. They should have a deep understanding of microeconomics at the intermediate level (e.g., Hal Varian's Intermediate Microeconomics: A Modern Approach). English fluency is required. Relevant teaching experience at the tertiary level would be an advantage. ENGL 1102AEF Presentation Skills A recognized higher degree in English Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, TESOL or a related discipline. Relevant teaching experience at tertiary level would be an advantage. ENGL 3040AEF Special Topic(s) in Cultural Studies A recognized Master’s degree / higher degree, which included the study of English language, literature and culture plus experience in teaching relevant English literature courses. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience in tertiary education and a PhD in related discipline. LANG 3143AEF Sociolinguistic Issues in Hong Kong A recognized higher degree in Linguistics, Sociolinguistics or Applied linguistics. Relevant teaching and/ research experience would be an advantage. POLS 3001AEF Chinese Foreign Policy Applicants should possess a higher degree, preferably an earned doctorate, in Political Science, Policy Studies or International Relations or a related discipline. They should have teaching/professional experience. Relevant teaching experience at the tertiary level would be an advantage. POLS 3003AEF Contemporary Chinese Politics Applicants should possess a higher degree, preferably an earned doctorate, in Political Science, Policy Studies or a related discipline. SOCI 2002AEF Essentials of Sociological Inquiry (Contemporary Theory) Applicants should possess a higher degree, preferably an earned doctorate, in Sociology or a related discipline. SOSC 3004AEF Community Engagement and Social Change Applicants should possess a higher degree, preferably an earned doctorate, in Sociology or Social Work. PSYC A342F Behavioural Economics Applicants should possess a higher degree, in Sociology or a related discipline. They should have teaching/professional experience preferably in qualitative research.
