The School of Nursing and Health Sciences offers a number of programmes in Nursing and Health Sciences at Diploma, Higher Diploma, Bachelor and Master Levels. We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences: Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will assume roles in teaching foundational knowledge and practical skills in artificial intelligence (AI) and smart healthcare technologies. The appointee will be responsible primarily for the following: • Performing teaching, including delivering lectures, conducting tutorials and seminars, and other teaching activities. • Planning, developing and updating the course materials, including lecture notes, readings, and assessments. • Marking and providing constructive feedback on student assignments, projects, and presentations. • Performing administrative, operational and other duties as assigned. (The appointee will be required to conduct classes in the evenings.) He/she will be normally assigned to work less than 68 hours per four consecutive weeks Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: • A Doctoral degree or above, in computer science, health informatics, artificial intelligence, data science or related disciplines; • Proficiency in Python and Cursor is required. • Proficiency in spoken and written English. • Experience in relevant teaching practice skills at tertiary level is required. • Proficiency in big data analytics, gerontechnology and personalized care will be an advantage.
