PART-TIME LECTURER FOR MC6360 INTERNAL COMMUNICATION

We are seeking a part-time lecturer to teach in the Master of Media and Communication programme in the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information, to teach Internal Communication. The course will focus on building the skills in leadership, staff motivation and retention, critical listening skills and empathy, interpersonal communication and working with teams. This includes collaborating and managing an international workforce and engaging various business units. The course aims to empower graduate students, mid and senior level managers with an understanding and appreciation of strategic and internal communication.
The preferred candidate should have extensive industry experience and knowledge of the topics covered in the course. The course format consists of a total of 39 hours of instruction that comprises lectures, in-class activities and seminar discussions. The Instructor will be responsible for syllabus planning, class preparation, marking for assessment and student consultation.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree or a bachelor’s degree with extensive industry experience in strategic and communication
• Background in communication, media and management, or related discipline is strongly preferred
