Part-Time Instructor in Italian Program, Department of French & Italian The Italian Program of the Department of French & Italian at the University of Pittsburgh seeks an instructor for one 3 cr. section of ITAL 0089, History of Italian Cinema. The successful candidate will need to have in hand, at the time of the hire, a PhD in Italian Studies (or related field) and experience in teaching a similar course (a 50-60 seat survey of Italian Cinema from the silent era to today) in the American post-secondary system. The appointment is for the spring semester, January 1, 2026, through May 15, 2026. Note that spring semester classes start on January 12, 2026. These classes will be taught in person.
