Department: Prelicensure-JM Location: Health Sciences Center Time Type: Part time Worker Type: Temporary (Fixed Term) Job Req ID: R108016 Position Description: The School of Nursing invites applications for Part-Time Lecturer (PTL) teaching positions in our Owensboro, Kentucky, location. Minimum Education and Experience Must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Master’s Degree preferred (MSN) Prior teaching experience is preferred. Curriculum Vitae required. Applicants will be considered as openings become available for teaching in each semester. Instructors are expected to attend orientation/trainings, submit course syllabus, order textbooks or other reading materials, provide developmentally meaningful feedback, present engaging and diverse learning experiences, respond to students in a timely manner, communicate regularly with designated course chair, maintain collegial and respectful relations with members of the UofL community and external stakeholders, submit course data and final grades within university deadlines, and comply with other requests as a part-time lecturer.
