We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Education and Languages: Part-time Lecturers ENGL 1102EEF Effective Use of English II Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointees shall mainly be responsible for: planning and conducting lectures for ENGL 1102EEF, a full-time English for Academic Purposes (EAP) course designed for undergraduates; assessing student assignments and providing constructive, high-quality feedback to support learning and academic development; marking examination papers in accordance with established grading criteria; assisting in the design and implementation of teaching and learning activities; demonstrating the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team; and undertaking other duties related to the development and delivery of the course, as assigned. The appointees shall be required to teach up to 3 hours per week, scheduled during weekday daytime hours, on campus in the face-to-face mode, between January 2026 and May 2026. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competencies: a higher degree in English linguistics, applied linguistics, English language and/or literature, or a closely related discipline; and excellent proficiency in both written and spoken English. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience at the tertiary level. Terms and Conditions for Appointment Successful candidates will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract.
