We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences: Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will be responsible for the following: Perform teaching-related duties including conducting lectures, tutorials and laboratory sessions, writing lecture notes, preparing and marking assignments, reports and examination scripts, and preparing evaluation reports on students’ performance, etc.; and Performing other related teaching and administrative duties. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience, and competence: A higher degree, preferably a master’s degree or above, in medical laboratory science, or a relevant discipline; Have professional experience in medical laboratory, with a Part (I) registration and a valid practicing certificate from the MLT Board of HKSAR being highly preferred; Relevant teaching experience at tertiary level would be an advantage; Relevant and ample clinical experience in one of the following areas is desirable: i) Cellular Pathology, (ii) Hematology, (iii) Clinical Chemistry, (iv) Medical Microbiology, (v)Molecular Diagnostics, (vi) Laboratory Management and Accreditation; A strong sense of responsibility, effective organization and interpersonal skills; Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently under pressure; and A good command of English and Chinese.
