Description The Inn at Crestwood is looking for a part-time, Cook to provide exceptional food services to guests. The Job A typical day for a Cook includes preparing food in accordance with restraint standards while providing exceptional customer service. Job Duties Include: Set up equipment and prepare food based on the business forecast?and?catering contracts. Prepare salads, sandwiches, cold and hot food entrees and other prepared foods according to portion and quality standards specified in recipes. Possess complete knowledge of menu and recipes, including preparation procedures, plating, garnishment, portions size and presentation and?special handling instructions. Ensure attractive presentation of all food and beverage products. Assist in ordering, receiving, and storing of all food and beverage related products. Assist the Food & Beverage Manager and banquet staff with catering events Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies. Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces). Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen team. Clean up station and take care of leftover food. Stock inventory appropriately. Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion. Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards. Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers. What would make me successful in this role?
