QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 2 years of kitchen experience in a similar role
  • Valid FoodSafe or equivalent food handling certification required
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • High standards for cleanliness, organization, and food quality
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn and grow

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
  • Ensure all food is handled and stored in compliance with food safety regulations (FoodSafe)
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation, including equipment and surfaces
  • Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies for service
  • Ensure proper portion control, presentation, and garnishing of dishes
  • Assist with prep work, inventory rotation, and restocking as needed
  • Adhere to kitchen protocols and health & safety standards at all times
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or Kitchen Supervisor
