Summary: Tavernonna is seeking a motivated Part-Time Line Cook to join our culinary team. This role is responsible for preparing high-quality dishes while maintaining consistency, efficiency, and attention to detail during service. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in their craft, and values teamwork in the kitchen. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to Tavernonna recipes and quality standards Assist with daily kitchen prep, including sauces, vegetables, proteins, and pasta preparation Maintain consistency and attention to detail in plating and presentation Ensure a clean, organized, and safe workstation throughout each shift Follow all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety procedures Communicate effectively with chefs and kitchen team members during service Report equipment issues, shortages, or safety concerns to kitchen leadership Assist with opening, closing, and general kitchen maintenance duties Contribute to a positive and collaborative kitchen environment Requirements Qualifications: 2+ years of restaurant or kitchen experience preferred Passion for cooking and working with fresh ingredients Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays What We’re Looking For We’re looking for team members who bring energy, professionalism, and pride in their work.
