Description Maintenance Assistant (Part-Time, Weekends Only) Grand Villa is seeking a dedicated and reliable Maintenance Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis, working exclusively on weekends. Key Responsibilities: - Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the facility, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general upkeep - Conduct inspections of common areas, resident units, and exterior spaces to identify maintenance needs - Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or residents - Assist with preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment and facilities operate efficiently - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and supplies - Ensure safety protocols are followed during all maintenance activities - Support the team in emergency repairs and troubleshooting as needed Skills and Qualifications: - Previous experience in building maintenance, repair, or a related field preferred - Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and general maintenance - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Good communication skills and ability to work independently - Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods - Reliable transportation to and from the work site Grand Villa values a team-oriented environment and is committed to providing a supportive workplace where employees can grow and develop their skills.
