JOB OVERVIEW:

An education officer is responsible for effectively promoting international education amongst students. The education officer identifies potential sales opportunities and effectively convert potentials into customers; provides professional consultation services to international students and assists them and manages throughout the whole cycle of their applications.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master’s degree required (PhD preferred).
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing client relationships.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage with international students, universities, and partners across diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Ability to advocate for students, address enquiries, and troubleshoot application-related issues.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and adept at working independently or collaboratively within a team.
  • Fluency in both English and Mandarin is required.
    Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract, Graduate
    Pay: From £12.21 per hour
    Expected hours: No more than 20 per week

Responsibilities
  • Share responsibility for the recruitment of international students and actively assist the team to achieve recruitment targets.
  • Proactively plan and execute marketing activities to promote our services and in turn help to achieve targets.
  • Deal with student enquiries and provide professional consultation services to students.
  • Liaise with universities and students to track students’ applications, arrange interviews, and field any general or specific enquiries as well as advocate on behalf of students.
  • Conduct all administrative tasks involved in processing student applications when required. This will include but not be limited to helping students fill in application forms, forwarding them to the university, tracking their progress, entering and updating the information in student files both on paper and in the office database.
  • Maintain good communication with colleagues and keep the line manager informed of application statuses or problems.
  • Develop new partners for potential sales and promotional opportunities.
  • Maintain and partner data base, including contracts and invoices.
  • Be responsible for ensuring partners adhere to company SOP’s, liaise with training department to identify the training needs.
  • From time-to-time undertake other relevant tasks as requested by the line manager or the company.
