PART-TIME MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN – SECURITY-TOWER BUILD (SAN ANTONIO)

About Landsat Technologies
We assemble rugged, solar-powered security-tower systems that protect critical commercial, industrial, and DoD sites. We’re adding a hands-on build tech to keep production moving as orders scale.

The Role

• Location: San Antonio
• Hours: 10-15 hrs/wk to start — pick your blocks.
• Pay: $40/hr (1099 to start). More hours & responsibility after training.

What You’ll Do

• Assemble tower subsystems: solar arrays, battery packs, low-voltage wiring, PoE cameras, LTE routers.
• Crimp, terminate, test for correct polarity & continuity; label and tidy harnesses.
• Image & configure NVRs / camera firmware from a laptop (we’ll train).
• Knock-down / palletize finished units; update build checklists & inventory counts.

Must-Have Skills & Traits

• Comfort with hand tools, multimeter, basic DC circuits.
• “Tinkerer” mindset — you’ve wired a car stereo, built a PC, or fixed your own mower.
• Solid computer literacy (Windows, spreadsheets, YouTube-how-to doesn’t scare you).
• Reliable & reachable: you answer the phone, show up on time, keep parts organized.
• US work authorization & ability to lift 50 lb.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with solar charge controllers, CCTV, networking, or maker projects.
• OSHA-10, forklift, or soldering certs.
• Interest in growing toward full-time production or field-service lead.
